An Interesting look at what is being done to rehabilitate animals and particularly birds, which have been poisoned, injured or orphaned. Enter walk-in aviaries containing crowned eagles, vultures, fish eagles and many other raptors. Walk among orphaned wildebeest and red hartebeest. Stroke a leopard, look a lion in the eye, touch or feel animals you would never normally get close to.


As one of the country's leading private research & breeding facilities, this unique project concerns itself with the breeding and protection of several endangered indigenous wildlife species in Southern Africa. Initially established solely as a breeding centre for cheetah, this centre soon expanded to include many other endangered species.


Our Panorama Tours visit some majestic natural sights including God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondavels. There will also be an opportunity to explore Pilgrim’s Rest, an old town originating from an alluvial gold rush, and now a national monument. This is one of the most scenic routes in the region, a must see for any visitor.


Set on a thousand hectare game reserve, JGI Chimpanzee Eden is a home to chimpanzees that have been misplaced from their natural habitat. The world renowned Jane Goodall Institute has made this tranquil venue their South African sanctuary and has committed itself to the rescue and care take of chimpanzees in need of refuge.


Situated midway between Blyde River Canyon and the southern Kruger National Park, this picturesque village offers visitors insight into the way of life of the Shangaan people. Visitors are encouraged to take part in day-to-day activities & to interact with the residents. You also have the opportunity to purchase local arts & crafts.
